” Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” ~ Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Despite the wisdom in this quote, just like Dumbledore, things are not always black and white. Sometimes it is hard to find the light switch, and you are not a failure if you can’t find it. It’s ok to ask for help, you don’t have to try to find the light alone.
I have heard it said that it is often not just the emotions themselves, but it is the feeling alone in emotions that is the most painful.
I am happy to be here with you as you work through hard times. You are not alone. Your feelings are valid. You matter. You are valid. You deserve to take up space. I am here with you.
